4月28日上午，清华大学公共管理学院10位国际项目学生前往中关村国际创新中心参加由科学技术部、北京市人民政府主办，北京市科学技术研究院等单位承办的2024中关村论坛年会“全球科技创新高端智库论坛”。本次活动由国际合作交流办副主任史姝婷带队，国际项目主管刘航组织实施。

本年度中关村论坛主题为“创新：建设更加美好的世界”。通过搭建高水平、国际化的交流平台，共同研讨人类社会发展面临的问题与困境，论坛致力为科技支撑构建人类命运共同体发出智库之声，推动未来产业对经济社会发展全局的重大引领作用。
活动结束后，同学们纷纷表达了自己的体会和感想。

the zgc global high level think tank forum for science and technology innovation 2024 brought together leading figures and researchers to share their valuable keynote speeches. as a public administration in international development and governance student, i found the emphasis on collaboration between researchers and policymakers particularly inspiring. this collaborative approach is essential for developing sustainable policies that leverage science and technology for the benefit of humanity. the forum was a valuable experience for me which i can obtain the highlight of collaboration research in shaping a sustainable future through science and technology.

i’m grateful and honored to be one of attendees of the zgc 2024 global high level think tank for science and technology innovation conference, where not only experts but also people with wisdom and knowledge shared their visions for the future on science and technology. the conference sheds light on the impact of science and technology innovation on our lives such as climate change and ethics of dealing with technological innovations such as ai. the important of collaboration among nations, scientists, researchers, and policymakers was also highlighted in the conference.

there is need for more collaborations in the form of more forums between other nations and china among publishers and researchers. mr wu jianmin the president of beijing academy of science and technology spoke on the new innovative model in open science. he reiterated the 5 areas for improvement which are: a)accelerating sharing of knowledge and technology. b)inclusiveness. c)high efficiency. d)attraction of zgc in and outside china. e)collaboration.
